Customized exercises are recommended when a person needs to strengthen certain parts of their body in order to get the full benefits of the adjustments of the spine. Exercises can also be used to improve alignment and relieve pain on their own.

Each patient is treated as an individual at My Family Chiro. This means you will be given exercises to do that are particularly beneficial to your unique needs and situation. You will be taught your customized exercises at the office, and given instructions on how often to do them at home. It is important that you pay attention and learn exactly how to do the exercises correctly, because you don't get the full benefit from incorrectly performed exercises. Each part of an exercise is designed to get a certain result that benefits you, and you don't want to miss out on these benefits.

Exercises on Our Website

While there are a wide array of exercises we may recommend to you, some of the most common ones that we teach our patients are demonstrated in a set of instructional videos on our website. Watching the videos and practicing along with them is a good way to make sure you are always doing the exercises correctly.


If you are given exercises that are not on our website, make sure you go over them with your chiropractor until you are sure you have them exactly correct. If you have any questions about how to do an exercise, don't hesitate to ask. We want you to get the most benefit out of your treatment with us as you can, and doing the exercises correctly is an important part of this.
